Global trade relies heavily on maritime which hardly ever takes a break. At Zeymarine the day starts before sunrise and finishes only when the tide permits it in Istanbul headquarters and offices in Dubai, Rotterdam and Singapore. Our goal is to provide a service beyond expectations on the seas.
Our Story
Zeymarine was started as an ordinary partnership to cover agency services in all Turkish ports and Turkish straits encompassing port agency services, protecting agency services and husbandry services.
After a brief start-up period, the business volume picked up dramatically and the simple ordinary partnership seems to become a bottleneck in matching an ever-increasing business volume. Hence, at the start of 2017, we moved to a corporate structure in order to best serve the interests of our client base.
Then, we tend to focus our expertise on shipyard calls. This line of business picked up swiftly and our team has an outstanding track record in delivering a seamless service.
Due to elevated business activity, we opened new offices and branches in crucial locations to follow up on the operation closely. This gave us a competitive edge in our operations and a healthy and close relationship with the shipyard operators.
So far, we handled almost 2000 operations in 18 countries. Our offices are located in the important and busy maritime destinations.
Our Bridging Continents Home: İstanbul
Istanbul’s Bosporus Strait is a vital marine route, situated at the meeting point of Europe and Asia. Bosphorus is one of the busiest chokepoints in the world, with over 40,000 vessels passing through it each year. Operating in Istanbul requires Zeymarine to embrace the city’s twin identities as East and West, modern and historic.
It is busy every day at Haydarpaşa Port or Ambarlı Terminal, where agents coordinate the docking and unloading of cargoes. Tuzla is also home to the busiest maintenance and repair shipyards in the Mediterranean region. A significant portion of the services we provide to all four corners of Turkey occur in Istanbul, where the population density is the highest.
With a population of over 16 million, Istanbul’s strategic location connects the Black Sea to the Mediterranean, making it a hub for energy shipments, bulk cargo and container traffic. But Istanbul’s importance is not just geographical; it is cultural. Every ship that passes through Istanbul carries not only goods but also stories. The stories of global trade that converge in a city that has been a center of commerce for thousands of years remind us of the culture we feed on.
Europe’s Heart Rotterdam
Rotterdam, often called the Gateway to Europe, is a marvel of industrial efficiency. As Europe’s largest port, it handles over 440 million tons of cargo annually, serving as the continent’s primary entry point for goods from across the globe. Zeymarine’s presence here underscores its commitment to the world’s most dynamic maritime hubs.
Zeymarine’s agents ensure that everything flows seamlessly. Rotterdam’s extensive network of inland waterways and rail connections amplifies its importance, linking the port to industrial and consumer hubs across Europe.
Environmental sustainability is an increasing focus here. At Zeymarine, we are proud to help pioneer the environmental changes that Rotterdam is leading. Working in Rotterdam means not only facilitating trade but also shaping the future of green shipping.
Asia’s Powerhouse Singapore
Strategically located at the crossroads of major trade routes, Singapore’s port is among the busiest globally, with vessels arriving every two to three minutes. Its importance to global trade cannot be overstated, making it a natural choice for Zeymarine’s operations.
Singapore’s maritime ecosystem is a finely tuned machine supported by state-of-the-art technology and proactive governance. We excel by combining meticulous planning with on-the-ground ingenuity in a high-pressure environment.
A Pearl in the Middle East, Dubai
A city synonymous with wealth, Dubai has transformed its ports into modern engineering marvels. Jebel Ali Port, the largest in the Middle East, is not just a port, but a testament to Dubai’s ambitions. A regional shipping and logistics hub, Dubai connects East and West, handling everything from oil tankers to luxury yachts.
For Zeymarine, Dubai offers a whirlwind of activity. Huge container ships approach the port and shipyards, renowned for their state-of-the-art facilities, are constantly busy. As Zeymarine, we are proud to contribute to the operations here.
