What she likes most about her job is the requirement of order and innovation. In her words, an outsider to the Accounting Profession might think that it is a monotonous job. For certain times, that thought might be accurate. However, the fact that there is a different accounting system in each business sector, and following the changes in the law constantly ensures that her job is not static but a constantly changing and developing aspect. This dynamism is what she admires in her profession.
She believes that companies which can not keep up with the period of technology and informatics will evanesce, according to her field of expertise. Because she states that the industry is constantly developing.
She admits that she had some difficulties when she first started the Shipping Company. ‘The maritime industry has a different accounting system’, she says. Getting into this industry has improved her horizons. She had the chance to meet new people and look at her work from a different perspective.
For the newbies in the industry, she says: ‘Even though you may be experienced, you will realize that you still have a lot to learn. You should be open to information as if you are inexperienced. We are still at the beginning of the road. And every step will make us mature.”
She is disciplined and intolerant of even her own faults at her work. Describes herself as a bookworm, rock music fan and animal lover. She enjoys calming her soul by being surrounded by soil and flowers. As for sports, she loves making pilates and walking. She believes that being happy with small things will bring great happiness.
